Education can only go so far in helping to save the seas - alongside teaching, we also need research, action and ongoing conservation efforts to help make progress in saving our seas.
This can take many forms, from creating structures and areas designed to stimulate the growth of Coral Reefs, for example, to organising littler picks on a large scale, researching how pollution is affecting the seas, or simply helping a single species, or individuals of any particular species, to survive.
We aim to work with a number of conservation charities, finding out what they need, and helping to raise money to support what they do. We will be doing this in a number of ways, from creating videos asking people to support particular fundraising efforts, donating a percentage of our profits from sales in our online store, having collection points at some of the shows that Greg and Lady Felicity attend, and even arranging special events and appearances from Fliss the Mermaid specifically aimed at fundraising. Come back regularly to this page to find out which charity we are currently working to support!

In 2018 we raised £227.42 for the Marine Conservation Society UK, our first chosen charity.
From July 2019 we have launched our fundraising for our second chosen charity, The Cetacean Research and Rescue Unit in Scotland. We specifically wanted a cetacean oriented charity this time following the time we spent with the whales of Magdelena Bay in Mexico. So far since the start of our new season we have raised £117.38.
We'll be arranging various fundraising efforts in our bid to raise money for various marine charities - but if you want to help us with our latest fund-raiser then please click on the link below to make a donation!
